This privacy policy describes how personal data collected through the Evidit pilot website is processed.

The pilot signup form may collect the following information:
- company name
- contact person name
- email address
- phone number
- sector
- free-form description of the company and its needs
In addition, technical protection mechanisms may process IP addresses and other technical identifiers to prevent abuse.

- to respond to pilot-related enquiries
- to assess pilot suitability
- to protect the service against spam and abuse
- to measure website usage at a general level
4. Legal basis
The processing is primarily based on the user’s request for contact and the controller’s legitimate interest in handling pilot enquiries and protecting the service from misuse.
5. Service providers used
We use the following services to operate the website and process form submissions:
- Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps and Azure Functions for hosting the website and form logic
- Azure Communication Services for delivering form submissions by email
- Cloudflare Turnstile for spam and abuse protection
- Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly website traffic measurement
These services act as processors or technical subcontractors to the extent required to provide the service.
6. Retention period
We keep pilot form submissions only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, assess pilot suitability, or meet legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted within a reasonable time.
7. International transfers
Data is primarily processed within the EU or EEA. If a service provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, appropriate safeguards are relied on according to the provider’s terms.
8. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, or to object to processing as provided by applicable data protection law. You can exercise these rights by contacting pilots@evidit.fi.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy if the service or the service providers used change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
